To our Mission City Orthodontics family,

We are excited to reopen our practice. We have reached most of you to reschedule your appointments; however, if you do not have a rescheduled appointment, please call our office. We appreciate your patience as we work through the complicated process.

Rest assured that we are taking every precaution to prevent the spread of disease of any kind in our office. We have installed barriers between you and our administrative staff in our reception rooms. Our clinical team will be using the highest level of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available to protect you and us from the spread of disease. We will be wiping down counter tops, chairs, door handles and other frequently touched surfaces regularly throughout the day. Additionally we have removed magazines and turned off the I-pads as these are difficult to disinfect. Pens will be wiped down after each use. And, as always we will be following OSHA regulations for safety and infection control.

Staff members’ temperature will be taken every morning and they will be screened for signs and symptoms of illness. Ill staff members will not be allowed to work. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will be seating patients in chairs that are at least 6 feet apart and our treatment chairs are spaced 6 feet apart as well.

Things will be a bit different when you come for your appointment. When you arrive, we ask that you please come inside and we will sign you in. For patients who are minors, we ask that the parents and family members remain in their car while we provide treatment to the patient. Of course, parents are welcome to come in briefly should they need to communicate with a member of our team in person or to make a payment.

When you enter the office, your temperature will be taken and you will need to fill out a screening form prior to being seen for treatment.

For minor patients, we ask that a parent fills out the form prior to arrival if they will not be accompanying the patients (this form will also be available on our website). We prefer to have as few people in the building as possible and it helps if family members can remain in the car. Upon completion of the appointment, one of our team members will schedule your next appointment and answer any questions you may have. The screening forms can be found on our website: missioncityortho.com/patient-forms/.

Here’s what you can do to help:

  1. Reschedule your appointment if you are feeling ill, have fever, cold or flu like symptoms.
  2. Don’t bring extra family members or friends to your appointments
